We care about your safety

Naantali Spa safety procedures during the COVID-19 pandemic

During the pandemic, Naantali Spa serves you according to the government and health authorities’ guidelines and recommendations.

For the safety of our customers and staff, our staff members wear masks or visors whenever safe distances (ca. 2 metres) cannot be guaranteed.

We strive to make sure that our guests stay safe and can enjoy their visit to the fullest.

Here is how we keep our guests safe during the pandemic:

General Guidelines

  • Please do not visit us if you have any flu-like symptoms.
  • Please take care of your personal hygiene – wash your hands and be mindful of how you cough/sneeze.
  • Please keep a safe distance from other guests and staff (at least 2 metres/5 feet).
  • Please use a mask when moving in the common areas
  • If at anytime during your visit you think you might have contracted the coronavirus (if you have symptoms or have been exposed to the virus), please interrupt your stay and get in touch with either the closest health centre, or contact the coronavirus helpline (in Naantali area tel. +358 (0)2 3138800).
  • Please follow the current quarantine regulations if you have travelled outside of Finland prior to your stay at the spa. We also check with our guests from other countries that proper quarantine procedures have been followed before they arrive at the spa.

Cleaning and Sanitizing

  • Surfaces in the common areas, such as elevator buttons, railings, door handles, desks and payment terminals are also cleaned more frequently.
  • Hand sanitizer is available for guests throughout the spa hotel.
  • We try to limit unnecessary contact between our customers and staff. If you stay with us lasts longer than a day and you wish your room to be cleaned during your stay, please contact the reception.

  • Please keep a safe distance from other guests and staff while checking in or otherwise interacting with the receptionists.
  • Instructions and other information is available at the notice boards.
  • Please pay with card instead of cash whenever possible.
  • There is a protective glass at the reception desk for your and the receptionists’ safety – please stay behind it. Whenever stepping on the other side of the protective glass, our receptionists wear masks or visors.

  • According to the World Health Organization´s guidelines, well maintained and chlorinated pools do not spread the coronavirus, nor are they a health risk. However, it is recommended to keep a safe distance of at least 1 meter (3,5 feet) while swimming or in other pool areas, and to make sure you wash your hands often. Please avoid crowded areas.
  • We have limited the number of guests admitted to the spa at a time, so that keeping safe distances is easier.
  • Between 1.2.-14.3.2021 the spa is open only to hotel guests and gym members on Saturdays.
  • We have increased the capacity of the locker rooms in accordance to the number of guests at the spa.
  • Please keep a safe distance (min. 2 metres) from other guests and staff while in the pools, the massage jets, the spa area in general, and the showers/saunas.

  • Breakfast is served in intervals. Your breakfast time will be reserved for you when you check in. If you wish to order breakfast in your room for an extra fee, you can do that in advance by calling our customer service or visit the reception once at the spa.
  • Our restaurant staff wears masks and gloves at work.
  • Please keep a safe distance from other guests and staff. We have made this easier by decreasing the number of seats and opening new dining spaces. Please remember to keep the safe distance also when queuing at the buffets.
  • You can also order take away at our main restaurant. You can place your order at the restaurant, or by calling in advance.
  • Please pay with card instead of cash whenever possible.

  • Group exercise classes are not held for the time being.
  • Please keep a safe distance (min. 2 metres) from other guests and staff.
  • Please sanitize the equipment after use. Cleaning equipment can be found near the entrance door of the gym. You can use your own gym mat if you like.

Ball games / Minigolf

  • We sanitize all clubs, rackets and balls after every use.

Wellness centre

  • Our Wellness Centre is open, and the staff wears masks during treatments. Please make reservations in advance, either by calling or online.

  • Shops are open normally, and the staff makes sure that customers keep safe distances.

Conference Centre

  • The number of guests at conferences is limited, so that safe distances can be kept.
  • You can have food and refreshments delivered to your meeting/event space directly.
  • We follow the current recommendations regarding the maximum number of people in group gatherings.

We warmly welcome you to enjoy your stay with us at Naantali Spa!
